The question is whether you will be able to use that drive as you log in to windows? Well, NO, your hard drive must be detected by bios first as it has information regarding the hardware settings, OS then detects it.

  1. LS, thx for doing this. However… I tried Method 4: Bypassing BIOS Password using CMD in Windows 10. I did this in cmd(administrator) but it didn’t know the debug command. Then I tried it in Powershell and there it said ‘missing argument in parameter list’. I have an ACER Aspire A315 laptop that I tried to get booted from a USB stick so I had to go into the bios but nothing worked. But even though I am sure I removed the Bios password, it turns out it’s still there, but I don’t know the little password I used anymore. It’s not a disaster because I somehow can’t change anything in the bios, but it’s very annoying.

So does you could you check the debug ‘missing argument’ instruction? Because that’s the only option I have really.

    Thx, a lot
